We, the “VDS Bunte Übung” injury simulation team, have made it our mission to make standardized or even boring-seeming exercises more lively, refreshed, and simply more colorful. We support exercises and training days nationwide at various companies and organizations with security tasks. Thanks to our efforts, BOS units such as the German Red Cross and fire departments can practice with their entire team and do not have to assign their own members as actors.

Our motto, “We make your exercise more colorful!” is always present.
Even when portraying a seemingly simple exercise situation, a little fake blood makes it much more lively.

Our team consists of injury actors who have a combination of medical training and amateur acting training. Makeup artists specializing in injury simulation and the depiction of illnesses, as well as instructors who teach inexperienced actors the art of injury simulation.

We also demonstrate the work of an amputee injury actor. We have props that can be used to simulate critical bleeding. Among other things, there is the  “splatter leg” prop, which can be used to simulate pulsating bleeding and the resulting treatment with a tourniquet.
